Happy Masks

The Happy Mask is two layers of mesh with a built-in internal membrane filter, good for up to fifty washes. The mask has a nose piece and adjustable, behind-the-ear loops. The pro mask comes in three sizes, with the small size being ideal for kids. They are extremely comfortable to wear. These masks are not machine washable, but according to the FAQ, only require soaking in cold water with dish soap for 10 minutes. I’m not a huge fan of remembering another way to wash something, but this one could be worth it. These are 24 dollars a piece and are manufactured in Taiwan. My husband prefers these. After a few months of use, the masks are harder to breathe through. My one concern with these is that if you are using them daily for hours at a time, they will need to be replaced every couple of months. Having said that, not having to worry about a separate filter, especially with kids, is appealing. This mask is ideal for people who travel a lot and don’t have the ability to machine wash a mask after every use. I have recommended this one to airline industry personnel for that reason.
